I mean I know at least one person who won’t be voting for Trump this November due to this conviction; Donald Trump.

Bobbie would be a second, and Paul a third.

True. I just hope Joe remembers how and where to vote.

    Our candidates suck.

This case was tried before a jury. The defendant was convicted by the jury, after evidence of his crimes were presented and his defense plead his side of the case.

I know it doesn't mean anything to the Republicans, but they should be embarrassed that their presidential candidate can't even vote for himself.
I don't think that's ever happened in our history.

    Same with the Scottsboro Boys.

Oh and not that it matters, but you are on point with your normal stupidity. He can still vote under Florida law… because of New York’s stupid law. Classic.

The defense was operating with one hand tied behind their back. Things they wanted to present were prohibited by the judge. Objections they raised to questions or testimony by the prosecution were denied. Did any of Stormy Daniels’ testimony about the sexual act that allegedly took place have any direct relevance to the crime being adjudicated? Of course not! It was done, and allowed, purely to prejudice the jury against Trump.

Can anyone justify the judge’s jury instructions saying that they did not have to be unanimous in the underlying misdemeanor, which was required, in order to find Trump guilty of the felony? I’m sorry, but that’s some serious banana republic bullshit right there.

Golf is a relatively simple game, played by reasonably intelligent people, stupidly.

    Stop arguing. It’s asinine.

This will be overturned on appeal. It’s awful for the Country however it’s apparently necessary.

    God help us….;)

Meanwhile, Mayor Pete can’t explain why $7.5B in funding has produced a yield of 7 or 8 or so charging stations.

    Again, God help us..

Not if he's in prison in New York. One can hope.

I’m reminded of an old adage as well:

Don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time.

I know it’s not this simple and I don’t know the particulars of this case, because frankly I don’t care. However, isn’t it funny that if the guy you like is convicted, he’s wrongly convicted and if the guy you like doesn’t win an election, the election is questioned?

Maybe it’s time for all of us to come together and frankly say enough… trump and his clown supporters need to take their ball and go home and while you’re at, take the old senile can’t complete a sentence president with you.
