A good day for justice. Wish it was on the docs case instead of the Al Capone like stupidity.

Does it really matter? We are looking at 4 crappy years of a President no matter who wins.

For what are technically nonviolent offenses for a first-timer? I wouldn't expect him to see jail time here, but I could definitely see an ankle bracelet/some version of house arrest being in the cards here. Sentencing is still 6 weeks away, although that will be right before the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee. Fun times there.
I have no doubt that the documents case is being dragged out by a friendly Trump judge, but I have no clue how long it will take the Supreme Court to either accept/reject Trump's immunity claim or kick it back to the lower courts for another round. In a way, running out the clock was Trump's main strategy in all 4 of his cases. He just ran out of chances in New York State.

I would like to think that it is a win for people like me who are tired of seeing politicians live above the law. However, I am sure this will be appealed and who knows from there what will happen. I would like to think someone higher up in the Republican Party would call for Trump to be removed as a candidate but that sadly won’t happen either. So you are right, we will have another 4 years of a crappy president no matter which political party wins.
