When you put them on one day...and take them off the next...that's being erratic.
How do you plan with action like that?
...he went up late, and I was already up there.

No Paul, no it's not. Look at his history with tariffs. Do some research. He has levied and then pulled back tariffs throughout his political career. Read about the Mexican and Canadian steel tariffs in 2018 and 2019. What he's doing now is on a much larger scale, but again it's exactly what he said he was going to do..ie use tariffs to negotiate better deals. He never said he was going to keep them in place in perpetuity. Disagree with that tactic all you want, but he's not being erratic if you understand what erratic actually means.

You don’t think playing games the global economy is erratic? The markets disagree with you

Spare me this baloney. The art of the deal crap. He paused tariffs because Japan the eu and china were dumping bonds like they were going out of style. The U.S. on the verge of being in a very precarious position. Believing that trump is some kind of master negotiator is hysterical. The guy has six bankruptcies

I understand that erratic actually means irregular, inconsistent and unpredictable. I'll stick with calling his behavior erratic.

Edit: it seems tariffs on China are really 145%

Six personal bankruptcies? If it's six companies going bankrupt over the course of his career, that's pretty good. Berkshire Hathaway had 4 file for bankruptcy on one day alone in 2023.

But this is what he does..past behavior predicts future, yes? He has a history of imposing, pulling back and then getting to the table. Never did I call him or infer that he was some sort of a master negotiator. Don't put words in my mouth. Again, disagree all you want...call it what you want but this is indeed what he does and what he has done.

Explain to the audience how his actions are unpredictable..considering he's done it before, campaigned on it and is doing it again. He literally predicted what he was going to do. He has been extremely regular, consistent and predictable with these tariffs. Is it good policy? We'll certainly find out. Risky?..sure. Unconventional?...absolutely. Erratic..not even close.

It takes a business genius to actually bankrupt a few casinos. It's damn difficult; they're cash cows.
