There's something about that guy I just don't really like. I'm glad we didn't end up with him.

JEHARDI - actually you were right about this. Just ran into this today:
According to a poll by CBS Sports, Louisville has the eighth-best NIL of any basketball program: https://bigredlouie.com/posts/louisv...y-01j5x9eh3c0j
SI also said that "The 502 Circle collective has one of the most robust budgets in the country – sources indicate it to be in the $20 million range for football and men’s basketball combined." https://www.si.com/college/louisvill...%20of%20charge.
According to a recent CJ article, "In 2023, Louisville reported $15.7 million for men’s basketball. $5.45 million for football and $724,794 for women’s basketball. The latest numbers available for 2024 are as follows: $13.85 million for men’s basketball, $6.08 million for football and $410,010 for women’s basketball."
Those numbers appear to jibe with the SI report, however, they may include donations outside of NIL - not sure?? Another SI article reports:
"According to On3’s Pete Nakos (paid subscription required), Louisville is prepared to spend and spend big in the portal. The program and its supporters are looking at a budget that could rise into the $8-10 million range when it’s all said and done (b-ball only). https://www.si.com/fannation/name-im...ransfer-portal
Regardless, Louisville obviously has a top NIL hoops budget. When they say, “We must protect our democracy,” switch the word “democracy” to “bureaucracy”, and it will all make sense.

Yes Louisville has up to a 10 million dollar nil budget for basketball this upcoming season. They did not this year. They were very much in line with Xavier. If you believe they were top ten in basketball then please break down exactly how they got to that number based on who was on the roster. Trust me, you can’t. It’s hilarious you think an anonymous cbs sports poll somehow validates your consistent nonsense or The on3 report that includes all donations to each sport, and combines football/basketball when it comes to nil. I mean ffs we outbid them for Maddox lol.
Btw none of this has anything to do with coaching changes.Last edited by Xville; Yesterday at 05:09 PM.

I think I'm going to believe CBS over an anonymous poster on a message board claiming the AD told him what their NIL is seven days a week.
When they say, “We must protect our democracy,” switch the word “democracy” to “bureaucracy”, and it will all make sense.

And that’s your right to be wrong. But think about this from a logical standpoint. Duke has 2 first rounders(one of them the probable first pick of the draft), and 2 other guys that will be on nba rosters this year. And you think Louisville with their roster which has one fringe nba player on it this year was ahead of them? Lol
