I have an 18-1 Bama championship ticket in my house. So this next game is enormous.

As I write this, we are in the second half of the Alabama versus Duke game. Some of us already watched Florida come back against Texas Tech.
Question: have any of you been sitting around, wondering about how much each one of these players are being paid?
I’m not familiar with any of these teams. I obviously follow Xavier and don’t know much about any of these teams. Having noted that, I was reminded that Sears played for Ohio University.
My point is that, at least in my case, I’m just sitting here, watching basketball. I haven’t thought much about how these teams have been assembled. Again, I haven’t really thought about how much these rosters cost. What are your thoughts on this?
It goes without saying that the football playoff was a smashing success. The NCAAT numbers are all up in terms of viewership, etc. Life is going to move on, albeit differently. We may as well adopt to it. At the very least, I don’t believe we are kidding ourselves about where Xavier stands in all of this, insofar as Xavier is positioned to be competitive moving forward. I’m not saying we will emulate Duke, but I think we have a reasonable shot at having success in this tournament.
Seems reasonable that we make an effort to get used to all the change. It isn’t going away. Xavier remains well positioned to be competitive in the sport moving forward.X A V I E R

Dukes length was way too much for bama’s guards. Knuppel and maluchai are ridiculous. Florida-Duke is going to be an epic final if that’s what it turns out to be, but duke’s length may be too much for Florida’s guards as well. Florida isn’t as small as Alabama but they don’t match duke’s length either.
