You would think but then again the rules don’t apply to public officials in Washington for some reason. Wouldn’t be surprised one bit if they all kept their job.

I think waltz is probably involved in too much important stuff to get rid of. They might have to blame someone else.

The guilty party has to be the one who created the chain right? I am sure Musk will get to the bottom of this.

Unfortunately, the recent precedence is classified materials/conversations/etc. don't mean anything if you are high enough on the food chain. From Hilary's private server to Trump's, Biden's, and Pence's documents to this - mutual destruction is the deterrent. It'll be an opportunity for the democrats to make political hay, but that's about it.

Gratefully, the mission went well and no American service members got hurt.

I was actually pleasantly surprised at the level of discourse revealed by those in the chat - except the emojis.

Alex Wong - you guys might want to do a deep dive on him....
When they say, “We must protect our democracy,” switch the word “democracy” to “bureaucracy”, and it will all make sense.

Children let loose in our government. Maybe somebody will wake up and decided Fox News Hosts don't have the experience for these types of jobs.
    Looking at you Republican Senators.
Sen. Joni Ernst (R, IA, veteran) and Sen. Thom Tillis (R, NC) are responsible for Hegseth. They knew his despicable record as a manager and as a human being and voted to confirm him anyway. "Only the best people" may become the mantra of the Trump administration.

Are you saying that poor handling of information means that children are in our government? Does that apply to all cases or just this one?

It was a mistake, doesn't make the person who did it despicable. It makes him/them careless, maybe that particular government position isn't for them. This would have been a four alarm meltdown if Biden's people did it.

Despicable is when you've abused alcohol in public numerous times, been forced out of leadership positions at two non-profit organizations, been accused of sexual abuse and then put the lives of our service members at risk. Heggie should go!
