Yep… how could a school like Xavier ever hope to compete with a school like Texas in basketball? Can you imagine if we ever played them? We’d probably lose by 40.
"It's like X wasn't given enough to do, so they had to promise it more. Okay, you don't start a lot of words, but we'll give you a co-starring role in tic-tac-toe. And you will be associated with hugs and kisses. And you will mark the spot. And you will make writing Christmas easier." -Mitch Hedberg

100%. Hopefully we get a chance soon with the new coach to do it again

You’ve been in a place for eight years as the head coach, 11 years total, you have family and friends, you become tied to so many of those teams and players moments, and so much of it is doing more with less at a place like that. There’s a lot of pride that starts to become a part of who you are when you’re in that, at the end of the day, this is a life-changing opportunity for me and my family. I believe this, that it gives us the best opportunity to compete for and win national championships".

When Miller left X the first time, he did a press conference at Xavier after accepting the Arizona job. I remember he had a quote about Xavier hitting it's ceiling and chasing Final Fours at Arizona.

The more things change the more they stay the same. It does make me smile that Sean probably had to practice the Hookem sign at his house in Cincinnati.
If it does end up being Mack I think it’s a good thing he 1. Wasn’t at a top tier program for long and 2. Had to go to a low major before coming back to X.

I am now positive miller got too used to and too spoiled at Arizona with the money and unlimited resources. Texas will be even better for that, however, Zona is a basketball school and Texas isn’t going to give a shit.

Mack I don’t think is/will be as “spoiled” by that and he also has a recent reminder of being somewhere with LESS resources than X.

I think Mack will feel much more grateful to be back at X.

Could be off base but that’s my feeling.
"I’m willing to sacrifice everything for this team. I’m going to dive for every loose ball, close out harder on every shot, block out for every rebound. I’m going to play harder than I’ve ever played. And I need you all to follow me." -MB '17

These guys never blame themselves, but this dude had a very long time at AZ in which he failed to even make a Final 4, much less win a title, with a lot of resources at his disposal. Meanwhile guys like Jay Wright Dan Hurley won multiple.

F to the U Mr. Sean”Phony piece of ••••” Miller

    You
are the worst kind of opportunist. Someone who can stare out into our Xavier Nation crowd when hired and - without blinking - talk about how this is your home where you know you want to stay for the rest of your career and retire and that you are convinced you can win a a National Championship here. You are so F.O.S.

Stone cold pathological. Could pass any lie detector with flying colors.

That's funny. I remember someone also taking the names ButlerBlue5 through ButlerBlue10 on social media accounts as well.

It is funny, but there are literally a billion combinations that could work. Someone's not trying very hard.
