Apparently Army is a product of their schedule. Bummer.

Should be interesting if ND and IU will be a product of their schedule as well

Penn state getting in the playoff is a joke. No way they are as good as their ranking. Getting in because their schedule is garbage.

That's an odd statement. The 2 "joke" schedules by far are ND and IU.

Look at Penn states schedule and compare it to iu and tell me if you can find the difference. They are both garbage. Difference is that iu won’t get in because they are iu

I don’t like nd but that comment makes zero sense. They have better wins than either of those two schools. Neither one of them is going into A&M and winning. Heck, Louisville is probably better than any team they beat.

Indiana will get in. Ole Miss, Alabama and Texas A&M clinched it for IU yesterday (barring a loss to Purdue).

Welcome to to College Football in 2024. BIG & SEC teams are going to get the benefit of the doubt regardless of their schedule. The BIG is OSU and Oregon and pack filler.

Yeah you may be right. Regardless, the big ten separated themselves really well and schedules aligned to where they didn’t cannibalize themselves like the other power conferences. I mean whatever. Iu is a cute story but they aren’t one of the best 12 teams and neither is Penn state. Not that it matters in getting selected.

I’m fine with the sec getting the benefit of the doubt. They are by far the best conference every single year and it’s hardly ever close. I fully expect one of them to win the playoff again.

The people talking about notre dames schedule is really weird. Its way better than a lot of the other teams that are going to be in the playoff
