Massive hurricane damage in the southeast over the weekend, and now Iran is about to attack Israel. It would probably be better if the United States had a living President.

"Short sighted view"? It's the exact opposite.....a widely shared view. Name me ANY House Republican that vocally supported that bill?

It's not the bill....it's the ridiculous timing of obvious political slight of hand. Any Republican that would have voted for this bill, at this time, would no longer have any future in the Party.

They didn't have a chance to support it, because their baby daddy said no. As I said, it was a short sighted view, which is not uncommon for Trump.

It's both sides, pretty sure Booker shut down a vote on a revenge pron bill sponsored by Cruz so Cruz couldn't get a political win to campaign on.

One poster said to vote policy rather than candidate, that would put this at a vote between DEI BS and Project 2025. I am, probably minority, that actually read project 2025 from the Heritage foundation. For me it's a hard pass, but so is the current form of DEI from the far left. It is just overboard. I know you all hate Biden, but a more centrist candidate would be very welcome right about now.

Yeah that's certainly fair. Both parties are at fault. A centrist candidate would be great but I don't think Biden is that at this point. He probably has some form of dementia and doesn't even know where he is half the time. We've really gone off the rails and getting a centrist thru a primary on either side is going to be extremely difficult moving forward.

Are you confused or just ignorant? Killing the bill was absolutely critical and imperative....this is a POTUS political street rumble.

The "BILL" could never pass the House. Do you not understand the political gymnastics in play here?

Yes I understand you just regurgitate everything trump and his cronies say. Doesn’t make it true. I already said what could have been done. Are you stupid or have trouble thinking for yourself?

Any Republican that goes against an edict from Trump no longer has a place in the party. And we wonder how the Republicans find themselves with this shit candidate.

Republicans ended up with this shit candidate because the American public is really stupid.

And shit candidates are not exclusive to one party.

Patently false first statement. JD Vance was a very vocal critic of Trump and I'd say he has a place in the party. There are loads of other Washington GOP politicians who have criticized and taken on Trump and still have a seat at the table.

We got this shit candidate because that's who the American public picked via the primary process.
