A refresher on the timeline of events leading up to the firing of Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin:

April 2014: Hunter Biden joined Burisma and was paid approximately $1,000,000 per year.

February 10, 2015: Viktor Shokin is elevated to lead the Office of the Prosecutor General during an ongoing, international investigation focused on corruption surrounding Burisma.

September 2015: The Interagency Policy Committee, a task force created to advise the Obama White House on whether Ukraine had cleaned up enough corruption to warrant more Western foreign aid, asserted that Prosecutor Shokin had made sufficient progress in combating corruption to warrant a third guarantee of a $1 billion loan.

November 5, 2015: Then-Vice President Biden participated in a call with then-President of Ukraine Poroshenko and provided no indication that the United States’ policy regarding Ukraine required the dismissal of Prosecutor General Shokin.

Late 2015: Vadym Pozharsky, Burisma’s corporate secretary, was increasingly pushing Hunter Biden to deliver help from the U.S. government regarding pressure Zlochevsky was facing from the Office of the Prosecutor General and abroad.

Also Late 2015: The removal of Prosecutor General Shokin suddenly becomes a condition of the $1 billion loan guarantee according to Vice President Biden.

December 4, 2015: Hunter Biden “called D.C.” in a private meeting with Zlochevsky and Pozharsky in Dubai following Pozharsky’s request.

March 2016: Shokin is dismissed from his position by the Ukrainian Rada after months of public pressure most adamantly applied by then-VP Biden.

January 2018: Former VP Joe Biden brags to Council on Foreign Relations event attendees about his role in having Shokin fired.

I can tell you didn't read the report, and you are somehow surprised that the focused on Trump during his presidency? The guy with 30,000 documented lies and counting? Really?

You're worried about the 1 billion he withheld in advancing US policy? If you had read the report you would have noticed this:

In February 2016, International Monetary Fund Managing Director Christine Lagarde threatened to withhold $40 billion unless Ukraine undertook “a substantial new effort” to fight corruption after the country’s economic minister and his team resigned to protest government corruption. That same month, a “reform-minded deputy prosecutor resigned, complaining that his efforts to address government corruption had been consistently stymied by his own prosecutor general, Viktor Shokin,” according to a Jan. 3, 2017, Congressional Research Service report.
Shokin submitted his resignation later that same month, and was gone the next month.
...he went up late, and I was already up there.

Paul totally ignores the 2 billion pathological lies that Joe Biden has told through his entire career, and which continues today as well as the “US policy” advanced by….Joe Biden! You obviously didn’t read the accurate timeline above where there had been deemed to be enough progress in September 2015 to even initiate the $1 billion loan. What happened in 3 months to change that? Pressure from Biden. Pretty clear.
I’m giving no credit to a report from an obviously biased “Fact Checker”. Biden is corrupt as hell and $20 million, including $$ from China, proves it.

I see you conveniently ignored the $40 billion loan pressure from the IMF.
    Well played.
Trump's DOJ spent 4 years trying to find dirt on Joe, including trying to pressure Ukraine to help...which resulted in one impeachment.
    He's still whining about it.

“Trumps DOJ”. Ha. That is the most comical statement you have ever made.
You mean the DOJ that called Hunter’s laptop “Russian Disinformation”?
You mean the DOJ that created FISA Warrants based upon a whole cloth dossier?
    I could go on.

Thank goodness there are actual whistleblowers with principles that have started to expose this corruption. And a Republican House to pursue it.

I just realized your "refresher" came from the Comer committee press release (without attribution) or from the letter to the State Dept., and obviously fails to mention the IMF withholding $40 billion for the same reason as US policy at that time.

    So?
It’s accurate. What of it? YOU believed a POS Dossier put out there by Adam Schiff.
You are so naive to think that the IMF isn’t influenced by whatever the US administration says?
    Grow up.

I'll go with the Republican Congressman from your Cleveland area.
He seems to be grown up, unlike many from the freedom caucus.

ps. grown ups attribute post content, instead of trying to appear they created content.
