As to your question, it's very simple. I could find no indication, anywhere, that she had apologized.
In fact, she didn't, as the article at WATE points out.

For anyone to suggest like you did requires me to know why you would state something exactly opposite of what happened. So...I asked for the cite, which only showed she did NOT apologize...not that she ACTUALLY apologized.

It reminds me of a discussion I had the other night with two very intelligent people; one an orthopedic surgeon, the other a university chancellor. They were both convinced the IRS was going to hire 87,000 gun toting agents. Apparently they had only got their information from Fox and congressional interviews that promoted that nonsense. Even showing them Trump's own IRS head said it was nonsense, and sending them resources to verify, didn't seem to help.
    Strange times we live in.

Also, yes some Dems help filibuster one attempt of multiple tries at reinstating the assault weapons ban. Some states have passed their own. I think there's another federal bill now up for consideration. Hopefully it'll get traction.
I clearly said that she was a two faced politician saying one thing for the camera and something else in a private hearing to protect her position by “expressing remorse”. That equates to an apology.
It seems your reading comprehension skills are lacking since WATE had both of those facts in there.
Would love to see hearing notes but the media won’t publish those.
The IRS is hiring 87,000 positions per the Democrats own admissions when the bill was passed. Now they are coming after folks who receive $600 or more on Venmo and Pay Pal payments. That may not be a gun but it sure sounds like weaponizing vs the little taxpayer to me. See the below link.
Glad you finally admitted that the Democrats did a self own in 2013. Now, someone please put forward a bill that is Constitutional regarding gun control and Bi-partisanship would follow, I’m confident.

From your Republican "fact check link"
87,000 new agents that would audit them
IRS would add 86,852 full-time equivalent employees by 2031
Most anyone with the slightest bit of intelligence can see the contradictions implicit in their own words.
First, the new employees will come over 10 years, not right away as they most often claim.
Second, employees and agents aren't the same thing. The first includes thousands of people who work administratively to run the agency.

Last year, then-IRS Commissioner Charles Rettig told lawmakers that staffing has shrunk to 1970s levels
(the US population has grown over 50% since 1970, from 203 million to 331 millions)
“The majority of new hires the IRS makes will be those who answer the phones, work on processing individual tax returns or go after high-end taxpayers or corporations who are avoiding their taxes,” wrote Rettig in an op-ed published by Yahoo!Finance in August.

A Trump appointee, Rettig called the claim that the IRS is hiring 87,000 agents to harass taxpayers “absolutely false.”

I'm still waiting on the cite to support the "fact" that people who were let out on bail in Portland, failed to show up in court.
...he went up late, and I was already up there.

First, the new employees will come over 10 years, not right away as they most often claim. Most often? It’s not claimed in the Fact Check. False
Second, employees and agents aren't the same thing. The first includes thousands of people who work administratively to run the agency. You have zero idea how many are agents and how many are not. How many extra AGENTS will it take to police the new $600 limit on Venmo & Pay Pal income? A Lot!

(the US population has grown over 50% since 1970, from 203 million to 331 millions)
Yes and technology has grown too allowing most taxpayers to file electronically. Most time technology reduces human head count due to efficiency. Not with the bloated Dem IRS though.

The multitudes of people who have walked away from serious charges due to prosecutorial malfeasance and gone on to commit further riot is well documented. You can research how many Antifa roving gangs have gone from town to town causing upheaval. I’m not doing your work for you..
The answers are above. You are 0 for 4.

I was confident that you couldn't site any support for your claim that people out on bail in Portland failed to show up for court.
There are a lot of statements in the past that you post without support; and when asked, deflect and can't produce. The "apology" item is just one example.

Thanks for letting me know my confidence wasn't misplaced.
