Biden was a Vice President. He had no legal right to possess the Classified Documents After he left office. Trump was President and had the rights to have them and also to Declassify them if he wanted. Why did Biden even have the documents?
That is, unless it is common practice in Washington to possess these things!!??
(Unless you are a former President who has been targeted by Politicized Government Agencies?)

Allow me to chime in if I may, as a registered Independent, regarding your question about positions "that are opposite of the Republican Party."

While a lot of us liked and supported many of Trump's policies (which actually benefitted everyone in the country), we never cared for much of his rhetoric and outrageous statements. A lot of us don't feel that Medicare and Social Security are actually "entitlements" as characterized by the Republican Party because we have paid into these programs our entire working lives. Lastly, vaccines should be mandated in serious pandemics (the Democrat position) but ONLY if completely and thoroughly tested and proven to be HIGHLY effective. The Covid vaccines were not thoroughly tested before release and eventually proven to be marginally effective. The Democrats unfortunately have been outed as anti-First Amendment censors and free speech suppressors and thus the valid concerns of many academic physicians regarding serious side effects and the use in low risk populations were largely censored. Republicans felt individuals should make the decision about getting the Covid vaccines based on ALL available information. The Democrats decided they didn't want the public to know the complete picture concerning the Covid vaccines, mandated their use regardless of their marginal effectiveness and significant possible side effects, and cost many people their jobs.

In general, Independent voters like to weigh the pro's and con's of both sides of the political arguments but in order to do so, information has to be free flowing and the Democrat Party doesn't do itself any favors by either altering or suppressing information. A form of censorship could also be in the form of actually ignoring an important story and passively not reporting it when it's detrimental to your party.

Meanwhile, the grand jury investigating Trump & Co. has completed their work and issued their final report. The jury has now been dissolved and we should hear from DA Fani Willis pretty soon what will become of that. Trump and Rudy Giuliani are the big names being investigated here.

The WaPo story states that there was little if any effect on Twitter and $46k spent on Facebook was a grain of sand on the beach.
Your candidate stunk and couldn’t even go to Wisconsin. She lost from arrogance and incompetence.

Maybe next time instead to crying foul over a blown up stories, pick a better candidate?

It's good that we all get to stop believing that taking classified documents is a big deal today.

The Vice President has original authority for classified documents:

    Sec. 1.3. Classification Authority.

    (a) The authority to classify information
originally may be exercised only by:

    (1) the President and the Vice President;

When the lawyers discovered the docs, they immediately turned over to the FBI.
Garland then appointed a prosecutor (one of 2 Trump appointees left...the other is on the Hunter Biden case) to investigate.
Whatever the result, whoever broke the law should be held accountable. They other people who might have handled them were Biden's people.

Not after he leaves office, which is the point which you try to defer from again. He also has Zero authority to DeClassify as VP, that the President does.
This is why no one goes along with you Paul. Your cute efforts to deflect.
When is Garland going to RAID HIS house to see if there are more?

I would guess after they give him multiple chances to voluntarily turn it over, he fails to do so, lies about, and the justice dept. has probable cause that he lied and was still in possession of classified information. So exactly how they treated Trump.
