The fact it was Hershel Walker, and that he did as well as he did, should be an indication that almost anyone else would have won.

Hershel Walker is just a complete and total moron. SURELY you can see that!! In addition to that, he is also a complete and total asshole. The people who noticeably didn't support Hershel Walker were most of his former teammates, nearly every member of his family, (many of whom he threatened to kill at one time or another), and nearly all of his children whom he had also threatened to kill. The closest thing that I actually saw to an endorsement was a statement from a former teammates that said "Well, he is a bit strange, but I guess a lot of people have a few skeletons in their closets." Which is a nice way of saying, I don't support him, but I don't want to just lash out at him either, so it hardly qualifies as an endorsement.

Perhaps there were better candidates. So why IN THE HELL DID THE GOP GO WITH THIS GUY?????

It shouldn't bother you that Sen Rev W won. It should bother you that Hershel Walker was who he was running against, and would have almost assuredly NOT won had it been ANYONE ELSE!
I don’t think Walker was a great choice but he’d do far less damage than the Rev.

Agree, but the media needs something to distract people from the Twitter dump and the Green New Deal money flowing to China.

The Republicans have a problem. They can run 20-30 people in the primaries, some good, but they won't overcome the crazyness base of 25-30. We saw how that worked last week. tRump has lost the last 4 elections with his election denier stance. I guess people really aren't that stupid.

What? The republicans won the house, and trump is no longer the leader of the party. I’d say it’s more that the democrats have a problem. now the republicans are dumping trump. It’s the last thing democrats had to win elections. Now they have nothing to rile the base up.

So, the government made a swap with Russia today...the "girl" with a penis who whines that America doesn't love her enough is exchanged for a Russian Arms Dealer. Smart.

Russia clearly won this game of chicken.

It's pretty clear to me that she was treated unfairly. Many in that situation aren't really even arrested, but just fined and deported, and the ones that are arrested are typically only locked up for a week or two and are then deported. She was used as a pawn, and it worked. They got what they wanted.

And to all those who say "Well, she shouldn't have had it in the first place"....OH REALLY!!?? YA THINK!!??

No one is disputing that. Or at least no one should be. But she was handled far more severely than what is typical, and it was done for a political reason.
