Ok,
Now that is a fantastic Post!
Thanks for helping to adjust some political compass.
Everything said feels left leaning, but very clever. However, you never attempted to debate my points, only deflected by making an opposing list of questions, but I am eager to engage.
Full background check and 7 day waiting period for ALL 1st time gun purchasers. 21 year old requirement reasonable for general public. National gun owner ID, scanned with serial numbers for all new purchases.
Police killings are going to happen when dealing with hardcore criminals. The folks in Blue are not playing pussy foot.
Medicaid already covers anyone that can't afford it.
Nation building with Western values has never worked.
Rock solid SECURE BOARDER. Only LEGAL entry. No Human trafficking/Fentanyl.
Not ENOUGH evidence to dispute the 2020 election.
Moderate enough?Last edited by Xuperman; 09-06-2022 at 10:09 PM.

You sure you're talking about the Democrats?? In complete lock step??!! The DEMOCRATS??
The Democrats have been the most divided and dysfunctional group that I have ever seen. They make the Pac 12 seem like they've got their shit together and are completely united with one another. The Dems constantly attack each other. They will try and "cancel" one of their own at the drop of a hat. A lot of Democrats actually cannot stand the extreme left. They're just kind of afraid to say anything because they know if they do that the Crazy is gonna Crazy.
You say you want to debate these issues and that the left leaning people on this site refuse to do it. The reason for that is the left leaning people on this site agree with almost none of those points, or at the very least do not agree with them to the extreme extent that the Crazy Left takes them. It's not that they're afraid to debate you. It's that they don't agree with any of those points in the first place. They ARE NOT in lock-step. If anything, the Crazy Left is a constant attempt to 'Out-Crazy-Left' everyone else. No one wants to debate the merits of that. There aren't any.
The thing is, I think the 'Crazy Right' is kind of starting to look the same way on the other side of the mirror. That's what scares me. The Right of about 15 years ago would have told Trump to go fuck himself."You can't fix stupid." Ron White

On an unrelated note, if you donated to Bannon's build the wall scam...maybe you can get some of your money back.
...he went up late, and I was already up there.

You've missed my point. The deflection you are calling, "very clever" is exactly what you are doing. I don't think you believe in the examples I presented. They are the most extreme perceptions of Republican view removed of all nuance, which again is what you're doing. Classic strawman

Have we talked about this BYU/Dook volleyball thing here yet? Absolutely insane situation where NYT, WaPo, ESPN, etc. all just jumped on an allegation made by a Dook volleyball player about the fans at BYU calling her a racial slur. The problem is that the allegation is apparently not true. But you're not going to see any retraction from ESPN, WaPo, or NYT. They've moved on, and if their "reporting" has done any damage it's not their concern.
South Carolina's Dawn Staley decided her women's basketball team would cancel a scheduled trip to BYU, because for god's sake you'd hate to take a risk of a bunch of black women living in South Carolina potentially being exposed to racism!
