I don't really see Pippen either. Suggs, I don't think I watched him enough last year to get a real good feel, but he's probably more of a ball handler than Colby is currently, right?

Definitely the same kind of stature and athleticism as both Suggs and Hart though---athletic enough for the nba, not extreme athleticism but enough to play at that level.

That's fair :) . Such a steal...guy should have been a top 50 player easily coming out of that class...glad he's on our team. So excited to watch him continue to grow and see just how good he can become.

The minute he REALIZES he is the best player on the floor and performs that way every minute, it will be next level and he is already performing extremely well.
We've come a long way since my bench seat at the Fieldhouse!

He is clearly the best player. We all see it.

I think Freemantle would want to carry a load of the scoring as a leader.
I don't see Colby being a leader YET.

If Colby had the confidence of Jerome Hunter, he would be BE POY!

Lol. I don’t know though, does Colby play like someone who’s unsure of himself? Perhaps the more curious question is, what would Jerome play like if he had Colby’s smarts?

Colby is a leader by example. He’s not a vocal catalyst. He’s only a sophomore and his time will come. Similar style of play as James Posey. Let’s hope he continues to improve and get stronger throughout his playing days at Xavier. He will become the big cheese.

Colby Jones finished this season looking like the 2022-23 Big East Player of the Year frontrunner.
