    Dash, that's quite a reading.
I won't even try to go down it. I just picked one out at random: it's quite normal for the other party people (than leaders) skip the inauguration.

What I'm most struck by is that even after being elected, it's all about what the other guys supposedly did. Just totally ignore what your guy is doing.

Do you even remember Mitch McConnell telling his caucus that their sole job was to block anything Obama tried to do for the American people?

I'm not impressed at all by tax cuts for the top 1 %, undoing regulations that protect our environment, and lowering our standing in the world while fawning over dictators. I know a lot of people like this. It's the old grievance deal. I'd like to have the R's govern. Hell, put out a damn platform if you really are serious about governing...not just being scammed by Trump until he throws you under the bus.

You elect somebody who bankrupts casinos, runs a fake university, and uses evangelicals to help elect himself so he could line his own pockets.
I think we can do better.
...he went up late, and I was already up there.

U still dont get it do you? Newsflash...most politicians are scums of the earth. Policy is what should matter, but libs don't want to talk too much policy because then people will realize they are cuckoo for cocoa puffs and living in candyland. So, your leaders appeal to the emotional side which is pretty reflective of every post of yours.

Lowering our standing in the world lol? Why, because it's not the 8 years of Obama kissing everyone's ring? Obama is a slick representation of the wimpy democratic mayors that continue to run their cities to the ground while pandering to their base.

Paul, I do remember McConnell doing that. It was Obama. It was a necessary thing to do.

Your argument about the tax cuts doesn’t cut it: By lowering the cost of capital, TCJA has raised business investment and personal income above pre-TCJA forecasts. While the full benefits of TCJA are yet to be realized, economic data show that the law has already improved the United States economy and Americans' standard of living.Dec 20, 2019

Lastly and most importantly, your Speaker of the House ripped up a presidential State of the Union address on national television in the hall as the speech was concluding. It doesn’t get more politically disgusting than that - unless a fake impeachment proceeding is pursued.

Former RNC chair Michael Steele is joining the anti-Trump Lincoln Project.

On Sunday, Steele warned Republicans that they are “getting punked” by Trump.

“All y’all want to play this little game that Donald Trump is like you, you’re stupid,” Steele said on MSNBC. “You’re being played. You’re getting punked. But what’s so bad about it is you’re complicit in your own punking.”
Dash, I'm afraid he may be right.

    I’m sorry you’re afraid.

The CURRENT RNC Chair disagrees with him, so perhaps your fears will be reduced.

The day after Republican congressman Mark Sanford, known for his criticism of Trump, lost his primary against a pro-Trump candidate, McDaniel tweeted that those who do not embrace Trump's agenda "will be making a mistake". In April 2018, McDaniel praised Trump as a "moral leader".

    Interesting family ties, too:

Parents: Ronna Stern Romney, Scott Romney
    Spouse: Patrick McDaniel
    Born: March 20, 1973, Austin
    Sibling: Mitt Romney

    Kenosha is burning.

Another proud day for the Democratic Party.

As fully expected, the Democrats are feeling sorry for the poor guy who got shot, even though he has a bad police record, has no respect for the police or anything, and was clearly resisting arrest and would have driven away if not stopped.

The Democratic Party and the liberal media have turned these guys into victims. Now the looters and rioters believe they have a hall pass.

And that brings us back to the Chicago Mayor, who believes she warrants extra police protection.

As they say, fiction has to make sense. The insanity of the Far Left is something special.

Guilty as charged: I feel sorry for anyone (regardless of color) who gets shot in the back 7 times by the police that we employ to protect and serve.

There may in fact be extenuating circumstances, but from the video it looks like they could have physically restrained him.

Dash, I appreciate your thoughts and firm beliefs. We obviously have a different perspective on the current political scene.
I do find it quite telling that so many Republicans are sounding alarm bells. You didn't see that in 2012 with people from the Obama administration coming out against the incumbent.

There's got to be something dysfunctional with so many top advisors leaving, good solid people with reputations like Matis, and Kelly, and even Tillerson.
That they are not supporting, in addition to all the other Republicans actively working against the president is a telling message I would think.

Whatever you think about GH Bush and GW Bush (and I certainly didn't agree with their policies) the fact that former Republican presidents didn't vote for Trump has to mean something to thinking Republicans.

Paul, you’re confused. We were being protected against the “guy“ who got shot seven times - shot seven times while being violent, resisting arrest, and preparing to literally drive away from the scene.

Are Comey and McCabe getting more nervous?

You keep playing this “dysfunctional” card Re people leaving Trump’s side. Democrats, the far left, the liberal media, and old guard RINO Republicans are threatened by him. What you aren’t acknowledging, and probably what really scares you, are the droves of people who are coming over to Trump’s side from elsewhere.

We’ll see what happens with the election. Obviously, the Democrats will attempt to steal it again.

The Democratic Party is about protecting criminals from honest citizens, not honest citizens from criminals. It’s all over the news. Watch it sometime.

Hope what happened to Mark and Patricia McCloskey never happens to you.

Finally, you’re a big SEC guy: did you enjoy Herschel Walker‘s address at the RNC this evening? It was a terrible look for the Democratic Party and liberals.

Joe Biden is a serial plagiarizer. He lied about marching in the Civil Rights Movement. He lied about his education. He lied about being shot at when he went to Iraq. He's been in office for almost 50 years and has done NOTHING. He was against forced busing and integration. His biggest accomplishment was a crime bill that sent thousands of Black men and women to prison.

He says he's Catholic, yet will not even stand up for the most innocent and defenseless lives - the unborn.

He doesn't care about law and order. He will stand back and watch this nation burn to the ground as to not upset the left-wing rioters, looters, and anarchists causing havoc in our cities.

He will put illegal aliens before citizens.

Actually, thank God he won't, because Trump is going to be serving four more years.
