Xavier always goes to the NCAA tournament...Projecting anything less than that this season feels like folly--Eamonn Brennan, ESPN (Summer Shootaround, 2012)

Something tells me those BLM patches aren't going to be real popular in Cintas.

I lived in kennedy heights in the late 60's- early 70's. When I went to sell the house, only black people made offers. They should give me my house back? Just as absurd.

Looks like Steve Bannon will be joining other Trumpers in jail.

I was actually a lot more interested in the 'who fakes her race' part of the 'whore who fakes her race' comment. All the Trump defenders focused on the 'whore' part, conveniently.
It's funny to me how with a lot of Trump fanatics (Note: Not Republicans - specifically the ardent Trump supporters) will swear that racism has nothing to do with their support of Trump, but then they will throw back a few cold ones and casually drop a pretty clearly racist comment. I have come to believe that for a (not insignificant) portion of Trumpers they are tired of being called a racist when they say racist things. The problem is that they do say racist things, but don't acknowledge their role in that. For example, I have never been called a racist, because I don't say things that are racist. Part of the appeal of Trump is that he says racist and sexist things apologetically, which emboldens them to say racist and sexist things and not feel ashamed when it is pointed out to them that their comments are racist.
Of course they don't think they are racist, which is why I'll be inundated with comments here shortly from about 5 or 6 of these guys calling me a liberal, a snowflake, and saying that I'm a hypocrite for calling it racist to say that a mixed woman 'fakes her race'. This is where the bar is at right now: the combination of thinking Trump is an idiot and also thinking that calling a women a 'whore who fakes her race' is not an appropriate thing to say makes me a flaming liberal.Eat Donuts!

Are you white? If so, that statement is demonstrably false.

I do not support a political party. I know that's really hard for some of you to understand. I do not in any way identify with the Democratic party, or their platform. I am not, nor have I ever been registered as a Democrat. At the present time I view the Democratic candidate as a favorable alternative to Trump. That's where it ends for me. Honestly I'll be surprised if I vote Democrat in 2024 unless Trump somehow runs again.
I have never been directly called a racist (to my knowledge). I don't really care or concern myself with a bunch of noise about how 'all white people are racist'. There is a whole ridiculous fringe of that type of shit that hasn't negatively impacted my life in any way.Eat Donuts!
