I'm also concerned with the constant talking to the refs, calling the game for them, and jawing with opponents. He's getting a rep that will be costing him the benefit of the doubt.

His suspension last year was in significant part taking back to the coaching staff. He's grown as a player, but not as a smart player. Can we transplant Dee's focus to Jalen? That would be a player!

Just play and go on to the next possession.

I already told my UC cousin Jalen will be tossed, he'll get one for hanging on the rim and one for shoving and jawing.

Hanging on the rim is a Class B technical (just like calling a timeout that you don't have) - that combo of techs by itself would not give Jalen the heave-ho.

Hopefully Coach reminds the team that UC players simply cannot handle "not nice" words. Clearly, a "punch first" mentality would go over better with the media. #stillbitter

And refs are too quick to call it. Sometimes a guy is still hanging because he's waiting for space to clear so he can hop down.

In the NBA you get suspended for a certain amount of Technical fouls, but I'm pretty sure that's not the case in college. No need to worry about him getting suspended.
