Fair enough. I just meant tha the definition of flake is really someone who is not committed to anything. So it seems like you're really saying that Xavier would have taken his commitment if he wasn't such a flake, which is really only a slight difference from what sweet16 said.

Xavier took his commitment and didn't stop recruiting him....flake or not. Chris Thomas pulled his verbal, not Xavier.
So no matter how much of a flake he is, Chris Thomas had a scholarship at Xavier next year had he wanted to play here."All I need are some tasty waves, a cool buzz and I'm fine.--Jeff Spicoli"

Nuts, I don't want to get into a big "thang" with you here but that is not what happened. Xavier backed off on him......not the other way around. If I told you where my information came from I'm certain that your response would be something to the effect of "that's good enough for me". Having said that, I really don't care if you believe me or not. What does bother me however is that misinformation (ie Thomas de-commits) such as this, in my opinion, does Mack, the basketball program and the university a huge disservice. We no longer wanted that headcase to be a part of our program. Unfortunately, as I stated before, the coaches can't comment so the only story that's made public is the player's.
