Mount Vernon senior guard Sherrod Wright will visit Xavier and Georgia Tech in September “for sure,” head coach Bob Cimmino said.

The 6-4, 190-pound Wright is the No. 30 shooting guard in the Class of 2009, according to Rivals. Virginia, Providence and Cincinnati are also in the mix, Cimmino said.

I think that Mount Vernon is the same school that produced former UCONN great Ben Gordon.

I love the way his coach is working to get him a good scholly (or at least a few more offers). That's a coach kids have to like playing for.

Not a chance in hell. Xavier is either going to sign Kyryl in 2009, or bank the ship for 2010.
