That’s why I laughed hard when inflation was “transitory”. Or my favorite, “Quantative Easing”.

Rome, GB, France, Germany (Weimar) all did it. There’s only so much a Country can “leverage”.
I think we can all agree that government spending needs to be curtailed. But this tariff increase will definitely raise prices on imported goods, thus causing inflation, minimally short term, and probably long term(prices never go back to their original prices when raised).

Well, prices will go to equilibrium eventually. That’s why it’s a Law not a Theory.

We will always pay a “hidden tax” due to the well, donkey punches.

We have beat the ever living hell out of once was once the dollar since Nixon took us off the Gold Standard.

Are you saying we don’t have enough trees or granite?

You really don’t know about recurring resources or resource management? CA is notoriously bad at it. :)

I understand it just fine bud that has zero to do with the here and now.

You’re arguing about things that have zero short term effects which is what I pointed to earlier. It’s essentially a non sequitur to the conversation at hand.

    What are the long-term Effects?

I’m not sure you even know what the conversation is about at this point.

Dude, you seriously said prices going up and inflation were two different things. So you may just want to stop
