Perhaps he realizes tariffs on islands that are not inhabited (i.e. don't have any trade to place tariffs on) is a sign of something out of control?
...he went up late, and I was already up there.

The last time we had tariffs like this, we had a great depression. "Perhaps" a few senators realizes the danger.

What Id like to see is what other countries tariffs are on the US over the same time period.

So, you’re saying the Globe may have changed a bit since Smoot? :)

    Who knew. :)

To answer your question. The U.S. has been in asymmetrical trade wars with most of our trading partners since around the 1960’s. Because we decided to be “nice” about it.

Rand Paul with a John McCain moment there. Doing whatÂ’s best for your constituents and the country should always come first over what the letter next to your name wants you to do. More politicians could learn something from this. Tip of the cap Rand!

So is he saying he's ok that canada keeps raising their tariffs on the US? Don't pretend to be an expert on this and def hating my portfolio right now but it seems like other countries have been taking advantage of us for a long time now
