How, or why in the hell would anyone trust Mack? His knife cut much deeper than both of Miller's knives. He was one of us, supposedly. Moreover, there's no indication he has any fire in the belly. Screw him - we dodged more long-term disappointment for a very short-term solution, which is all he would be.

I will wait until the hire is announced but I am curious how this has played out. Is the logic go cheaper on HC salary, but have more set aside for NIL? Did Mack want it, but did not like the NIL? If Mack asked Sean about the NIL what would Sean say?
