Again, when did I say go scorched earth?

You don't praise a coach that just bent you over again. Say he's leaving, introduce a plan, move on.

XU and the basketball program we're wronged. They were taken advantage of. Have some principles.

Not much. Sean’s leaving, we have found our new coach in Richard Pitino.

    Yep. Pretty simple.

They bring him back, give him a second chance, he damn near swears that he'll be here forever.
Fine. Then why didn't they have a $20 million buy out? He shouldn't object...he swore he'd be here forever.
We could have used those NIL dollars...and it would have been doubly sweet for Texas to have paid them.
My thought exactly, Paul. The next guy, especially if it is Mack, who expresses his joy for wanting to coach at Xavier and take Xavier to even higher heights should be made to look down at a contract that contains a $10 million, 5-year, Non-Amortizing Buyout Clause.

Okay, Coach. You just said what you said. Put your commitment to what your mouth just said and sign this thing with that Buyout Clause as part of it.

Christopher should have called it out and called a spade a spade. Nothing wrong with being honest. It's weak leadership like this that caused X to miss the tournament 5/6 years before earning an appearance in Dayton and wasted the 1 seed of 2018. This is the definition of being a tool. Miller used him to reestablish himself and dropped him and X like a bad habit the first chance he got.
The weakest fucking corporate piece of trash statement I’ve ever read.

I asked ChatGPT to re-write the University statement more aggressively:

Sean Miller’s disgraceful reign over Xavier Basketball has finally come to an end, and not a moment too soon.

This shameless fraud, this bloated relic of a bygone era, somehow wormed his way back into our program, only to leave behind a trail of mediocrity, wasted potential, and empty promises. His so-called “leadership” was nothing more than a thinly veiled exercise in self-preservation—scrambling to keep up with the modern game while cashing checks he had no business collecting.

His Sweet 16 run? A meaningless blip in a sea of underachievement. His presence? A stain on our legacy. The full-throated support he received from the administration was misguided at best, enabling at worst.

    And yet, Xavier will rise.

The Miller stench will be washed away, and in its place, a new era of dominance will be forged—one built on integrity, relentless ambition, and a refusal to settle for anything less than true greatness. Let Miller drift back into the shadows where he belongs; karma has a way of dealing with men like him.

As for us, the hunt is already underway for a leader worthy of the Xavier name, someone who will bring fire, fight, and a ruthless hunger for championships. The future is bright, and Xavier will have its revenge.

    Does this not inspire passion?

I would have given a hearty FUCK YEAH if this was reality.

I'd hang Greg Christopher's laptop in the rafters if he'd have actually fired that one off!
