ESPN's bubble watch has us as a coin flip.

Perhaps DePaul is planning to run through the BET and steal a bid.

Texas and Boise State both winning were the 2 worst ones as they were 2 teams that were likely on the outside looking in until today.

Not great they won games in their tournaments and X lost.

Pathetic is right. Unreal what has happened to this program. Zero excuses. I don’t want to hear how some teams are not deserving or whatever. Win some fucking games and don’t be in this bubble conversation.

With another bracket posted today let’s update where I see the teams on the bubble currently.

Teams that have done enough, and without a bunch of bid stealers should be fine:

Arkansas, Georgia, Utah State, West Virginia, Oklahoma

Oklahoma solidified their spot with a huge win over fellow bubble mate Georgia. The Bulldogs dropped behind Arkansas with their loss, but with 20 wins. only one loss outside of Quad one and five wins over teams in the field Georgia’s resume trumps anyone else below them.

Teams that are still not safe:

Vanderbilt, San Diego State, Indiana, Baylor

These four still have more meat on the bone than the other two teams in the field below them, but circumstances and a couple of bid steals could have them in trouble. Vanderbilt’s regular season is over so perhaps its best that they are the safest at this point. BIg games await for the other three, no bigger bubble game than Boise State versus the Aztecs. A San Diego State win should pretty much stamp their ticket, but a loss they could be in some real trouble.

Still have work to do–and in some cases need some help:

Xavier, Bosie State, Texas, North Carolina, Colorado State

Xavier faces a huge opportunity against Marquette this afternoon. A win and they would get what they have very much been missing, another Q1 win. It might not be all they need but it may be enough. Boise must win the San Diego State or they will most likely get passed. Texas hasn’t quite done enough but beating A&M today could be enough. Colorado State is still alive but needs a run in the MWC and some help. North Carolina is the most interesting case. Only one Q1 win is what is keeping the Tar Heels from moving in the field. The problem is there aren’t many of those to be had. So accumulating more wins may help, as it may be tough to keep a 23-win UNC team out of the field.

There are a couple others–Villanova, UC-Irvine, Wake Forest–that are still hanging around but really don’t have enough. One thing to watch is if UC-San Diego loses in the Big West tournament. If so, they would have a good enough resume to be at least considered for an at large bid.

With SDSU losing wouldn't they be out now? One team from that game was going to move up, both were the outside looking in.

Maybe but they were more safe than Boise State they had wins over Houston, Creighton, 2 over Boise State and New Mexico.

SD ST was not on the outside looking in where you get that from ?

With how the games are going X chances seem bleak. Gonna need to hope the old “conference tournament doesn’t matter” holds up.

Things have gone awful today so hoping for Nevada to upset Colorado State and get them out of the picture but I doubt it the way things are going.

Memphis has to win their tournament that is 100% a must and that doesn't end until Sunday so our sweat will be all the way until the last second as they are the late Sunday game right before the show.
