Things are set up for a run.

We should all feel really good about how the seeding for the Big East Tournament sets up so nicely for X.

Creighton, UConn and Villanova all in the bottom bracket is as favorable as it gets for us.

St Johns can be had for sure....I think Butler can save X the trouble and take care of business.

Marquette the best match up for our roster as well. They have NO DEPTH and NOTHING at the 5.

Gold has a style that really pisses me off. He doesn't have any real ability to rebound the ball....he has mastered this sissy "slapping" technique.

I'll be rooting against GTown and Nova. Don't want a bid stolen from X within the conference. Even without Sorber the combo of Epps, Mack & Peavy can be dangerous. Nova has even more talent.

I'm more confident that X can win the Big East tournament than ever before. We beat all the teams except St. John's, and we had a chance at MSG. One thing that concerns me is the Marquette vs St. John's game yesterday. The referees reverted to the "No autopsy, no foul" rule. I'm not sure X can play that physical game of basketball. Also, since many on this board suggest that St. John's can't shoot, would Sean consider zone if we meet them?
