Got to get some money someplace to pay for the 4.5 trillion primarily targeted for top 1%.

Cutting Medicaid for the most needy in our society is only promising 888 billion.

Nope, don’t have to pay for tax cuts or continued rates.

    Cut more spending.

    Just some thoughts...

Is it cutting for the sake of cutting? Or is it cutting the fat? Is it temporary/pause or is it permanent?

I'm pretty sure that everyone on this board and elsewhere would like to cut wasteful spending in their personal lives(see thread on cutting the cord). Businesses cut wasteful spending by doing self auditing but mostly by common sense. Most local governments do as well.

I've never been a fan of The Board of Education because I always thought it was just more bureaucracy. I prefer states having more controll over most things. I, however, was hoping to be proven wrong but national scores have not improved since it's creation. IMO the BOE should be gathering of information and distributing the results as opposed to dictating to the states.

In St Bernard, they are on their 3rd school in my lifetime. They tore down the original school and built a new one. The new one has been torn down and another school has just been completed. At the same time, Roger Bacon and St Clement have been updated and taken care of. Which is more cost effective?

Looks like the US is going to get some mineral rights from Ukraine in exchange for continued military support. Nice.

1952 just called. It wants its false basis for warmongering back.

Sorry, that's not an answer; it's snark. Care to answer the question?

Who here in your mind is a “Russia sympathizer”?

Please tell me you haven’t resorted to the Paul/Bobbie school of simplistic false equivalencies, taught by leftist media clowns.

My post was an answer, but I’ll explain for you. It’s absolute horseshit and bears no relevance in 2025. Trying to claim Russia today has the power of the post-WW2 USSR is preposterous and disingenuous. Furthermore, we shouldn’t give a shit what happens in EU when we have ample problems of our own. Further furthermore, if we need to be concerned about EU countries falling to Marxist dictators, we should be watching what is happening in Germany, Romania, the UK and others.

Hope that helps. Stop watching the “news”.
