Back from exile just in time for the really important season. Xavier by far had the best opening weekend of anyone in the Big East, even at 2-2. Getting wins against UNLV and Indiana helped take the sting out of two Oregon State losses.

Won't get to meet Xville down in Louisville though - game postponed due to winter weather tomorrow. Not sure if that'll be rescheduled.

X blew a 7-0 5th inning lead and lost 10-7 to the Jerry Falwell Flamers.

Now it's Liberty's turn to blow an early lead and watch their bullpen go up in flames.

Xavier now up 9-5 in the top of the 8th inning in Game 2.
