    Game Thread: Xavier v Providence College (2/12/2025)

    CINCINNATI --- The Xavier University Musketeers, 14-10 overall and 6-7 in the BIG EAST Conference, are back on the road vs. the Providence College Friars, 11-13 overall and 5-8 in the BIG EAST, for a Wednesday night game at 8 p.m.in Providence, R.I. Both teams are looking to bounce back from weekend road losses.

    Xavier has not played Providence or Butler yet this season. XU has completed its home-and-away series with St. John's, UConn, Marquette, Georgetown and Villanova.

    Providence has been ravaged by injuries, but one thing you can say about them is they play hard every single minute of every single game. This will be tough.

    Win this one though, and the team really should win the following 3 setting up the biggest regular season game in two plus years against Creighton

    I actually signed up for Peacock because they had a $39 special for one year.
    Figured I could watch Yellowstone to pass the time.

    Every game is a must win here on out. I don't think they roll the table but I think it's imperative to get in the top 5 of the league then win some in NY.

    Well decided to bite the bullet and got peacock temporarily. Was hoping to pay for one month but looks like BET is a few days later into the next month. Hopefully it is easy to cancel until next year.

    One thing - I mean the only thing I liked about ESPN + was that it was easy to cancel.
