I think there is a very good chance based on their remaining schedules that UConn and Marquette have at least 6 conference losses and potentially 7. X has to take care of business, but very good chance of getting out of the 5. Not sure it really matters, but it’d be nice I guess. If we are wishing for anything, I’d like to get out of the St. John’s side of the bracket.

Surely you are talking about 6/7 losses combined between the 2 teams?

With McNealy back....UCONN will start kicking some serious ass. Make the Championship game of the BET and keep the Three-peat very possible.

Marquette does have frontcourt issues. Sound familiar?

They already have 7 losses combined, look at both of their remaining schedules, it’s very tough. I could see both losing quite a few games down the stretch.

You are correct with Marquette, that’s why x matches up so well with them. Very similar makeups

For instance. Marquette has @creighton, @georgetown, St. John’s, @nova, UConn.

    UConn has @creighton, @st John’s, Marquette, @providence.

I could see both of them lose 3 more games at least.

Also, X is looking at a solid reality of at least 4 more losses. Make no mistake....both Butler and PC are difficult match ups home or away.

4? Man, you’re really undervaluing the way this team has played since the first St. John’s game. Away conference games are always tough but geesh

Hey, X has gotten embarrassed several times early this year....but has always closed strong and been respectable in EVERY game.

Here is and has been the main problem for me all season.

Following up a really solid game with a typical worthless effort gives me little hope for this guy. That missing element makes every game a challenge.

I agree that the bench has been very inconsistent. My contention though is that since the first St. John's game, the team has lost twice @Creighton and @ St. John's. X doesn't have a game that's as tough as those remaining. Sure there are speed bumps and Sunday is huge. I just don't see this team losing more than 2 of their remaining games, knock on wood as long as X stays healthy.

With all that said, UConn only dropped to 32 in the net, so if they play well down the stretch. Q1 would be in play. Creighton is 34, so go blue jays!

Creighton does it again. Just does the right things at the right time at the end of games. Looks like them and St. John’s for the title
