yes thank you go! I don't know why i was having such a difficult time finding it lol. If the mods could delete my message on the other thread, I'd appreciate it.

thought that since we are about 25% of the way thru, we'd take a look:

    Marquette 5-0
    Nova 4-1
    St. John's 4-1
    Uconn 4-1
    Gtown 3-1
    Creighton 2-2
    Providence 2-3
    Hall 1-3
    X 1-4
    Depaul 0-5
    Butler 0-5

Marquette even better than I thought they'd be. Nova certainly surprising, as well as Gtown. The bottom, outside of X seems about right....usual players of Depaul, Butler, Hall. Although I thought that's where Gtown and Nova would be. A stud 7 footer can make your team look really good really quickly in Gtown, and apparently Neptune figured out how to coach.

I believe most thought X could play in that top 4-5 area, but it seems that X may be the best of the worst instead---right around 6 or 7.

I think setting the number of conference wins for X at 0/u 8 is probably about right at this point. sigh

As bad as last year was, they still won 9 conference games. That's going to take a sweep of Depaul, Hall and Butler to even touch that mark this year.

So, here's where we stand a little over halfway thru the conference schedule, and boy how quickly did things change for X over the last 6 games:

    SJU 10-1
    Marquette 9-2
    Creighton 9-2
    UCONN 8-3
    Gtown 5-6
    X 5-6
    Nova 5-6
    Providence 5-6
    Butler 2-9
    Depaul 2-10
    Hall 1-10

Just an interesting note, Marquette has a very loaded back half of the schedule. They have to play St. Johns twice, @Creighton, @Nova, @Gtown, @UCONN. I think it's realistic to say they could lose at least 4 more games and end up in the 4th spot. I'd feel a lot better about playing them in the first round as opposed to UCONN @MSG with a healthy MCNeeley. May be too much to ask but I wouldn't mind Creighton knocking St. John's out of the 1 either.

I was thinking St. Johns and Creighton on our half with UConn/Marquette on the other half would be ideal.

Oh really? I just don’t like the matchup with St. John’s. I know we were right there with them the second time but I guess I’d rather play them than a healthy UConn.

I'd rather be on the UConn/Marquette side than the other two.

Hard to beat a team 3 times. It’s tough. I think we match up well with Marquette. Ideally they’d fall to 4. St John’s is tough. At MSG, as the 1 seed….would be hard to beat. But it’s a team that isn't very good at shooting and that always gives you a chance.
