I very seriously doubt she would have tried to stop it.

This is a stupid and pointless exercise. Let's call the electoral college what it has really become, and that's an electoral point system. Trump won. That's it. Why go through this vote where all the votes are predetermined?? And why have congress spend an entire day counting them when everyone already knows what the final result will be?? It all just seems kind of dumb.

With much appreciation here....no more "Fundamentally Transform America" posts for me. Trump officially drove a stake in that. The Obama era is dead, and good riddance.

These radicals had some serious momentum, but Biden checked out and Harris was a terrible torchbearer. We have at least 4 years to return from the "Twilight Zone" and hopefully shitcan this "Woke" "DEI" insanity. We have always been, and must continue to be, a MERIT based America.

Being staunch Democrats, what direction do you see the Democratic Party going leading up to the 2028 election? You would have to see the Democratic Party moving away from the Obama ideology after the basically getting curb stomped by MAGA this election cycle. Is it too soon to speculate because I was surprised how many defeats the Democrats had and how bad Harris lost to an unpopular candidate in Trump. Will be interesting to see how they try to rebuild their voting base that didn’t turn up this election cycle.

If the dems go thru an actual primary and have a candidate like Shapiro or the guy in AZ, it will be a contest, and it would be extremely close. JD wouldn't win every swing state like Trump is about to.

I look forward to'28, i think we are going to have some really strong candidates, and I think a lot of the rhetoric is going to be toned down. People have had enough of that shitshow
