Apologies. I don’t have a NYT subscription, but linked to the article from another site.
Since it let me read the whole article, I thought it might have been a free one. Sorry.

I have been heckled by a few on here about not “supporting” the site by paying $12 dollars a year yet it seems most people on here do not “support” the website. I am wondering why only a handful out of the 100 or so regulars support the site. I have my opinions but I was curious about why others do not?

Simple. The website costs money and to tell the truth is probably is subsidized by Muskie. Many more members on board during actual basketball season. Muskie provided a much needed outlet for the tremendous interest in X basketball. Two cups at Starbucks. Don,t be a cheap bastard o just go to another free site like musketeer madness.

Maybe he's afraid of subsidizing the Xavier Politics Forum where basketball is just a masquerade?

Say what you will about Pelosi. But she knew how to manage her caucus, and get the important work of government done.
Even some Republicans understand that. If the only way to keep the doors open is to get some reasonable R's to join with D's to pass a budget, that would probably cost McCarthy his speakership.
