This a couple weeks old but Megyn is a decent smacktalker. She should be prez. I'd have a meeting with her in the ovul office.

McCarthy too scared to take a vote on whether to have an inquiry.
...he went up late, and I was already up there.

I really do not get the play here.

Option 1: They investigate and do not bring an impeachment, Biden claims he is acquitted.
Option 2: They investigate bring an article of impeachment and it fails a house vote, Biden claims he is acquitted, and they forced members in districts Biden won to take a really hard vote.
Option 3: They investigate bring an article of impeachment and it passes, it has 0% chance in the Senate. Biden claims he is acquitted, and they forced members in districts Biden won to take a really hard vote.

Every recent impeachment has resulted in the popularity of the President actually increasing. So all this likely does is put a number of house seats in danger of being flipped and losing the house.

I guess Kevin McCarthy will do whatever is necessary in the short term to hold onto the gavel as long as possible.

I guess you can take that view—-one of unprofessional emotional decision making, or you could take the adult professional view—-that this is a waste of everyone’s time and money and we should expect better from our political “leaders.”

Wow, this seems to have struck a nerve with some on this board.

True but “there are consequences to your actions” is pretty accurate here and goes well outside just politics.

I’ll go with two wrongs don’t make a right. It was stupid and wrong with trump, and it’s stupid and wrong here.
