In other news the US credit rating was reduced by Fitch for the second time in history.

Fitch cited "a steady deterioration in standards of governance" as a major reason behind its decision on Tuesday evening.

All of the Republican nominees are falling right back into the 2016 trap of thinking that Trump will fall under his own weight, and when he does that his base will move to whoever said nice things about him. If you are trying to be the "Trump without the baggage candidate," you are not going to get anyone to support you over him if your talking point is the baggage is all made up. I am just at a loss on the political strategy of the other candidates, unless they are all running to be VP.
