I expected that it would be a pretty tortured standing argument, but it really felt like the Chief mailed it in. I am not quite sure the point of having MOEHLA be a separate entity from the State of Missouri if the State of Missouri can sue (and I guess now be sued) as the owner of the corporation. I wonder if this will be used in other corporate structures or if they will just limit to state entities and not all corporate entities.
Not that I think this would happen, but it sets up the fun possibility of states invoking the original jurisdiction of the Court in a suit concerning realignment. The State of Georgia, on behalf of Georgia Tech, sues the State of North Carolina, on behalf of UNC, for leaving the ACC."If our season was based on A-10 awards, there’d be a lot of empty space up in the rafters of the Cintas Center." - Chris Mack
