Wasn’t Trump lambasted by the media and big tech when he suggested that TikTok be banned when he was still in office?

Golf is a relatively simple game, played by reasonably intelligent people, stupidly.

I don’t want to turn this into a political fight, I’m just sad that another stupid tragedy had to happen today and three elementary kids don’t get to go home. Before anything else in this world, something needs to be done. It’s insane that when I drop my kids off at school every morning, I have to worry about something like this happening. I don’t know whether to be pissed off or cry. The world has really becomes a fucked up place.

Everything that is posted on here becomes a political fight. The gun debate is one that will always divide this country. Removing guns in my opinion doesnÂ’t eliminate the problem but would possible cause less people to be harmed. The biggest issue in my opinion is the decline in mental health, broken families and loss of community. I would bet a majority of these school shootings involve individuals who have mental health problems, broken families and/or are not part or participate in the community. They are broken people who see no future for themselves and do not care for others. You may very well want to cry because this problem is getting a lot worse with the next generation of students coming through our schools. I believe we will see more frequent and more deadly school shootings in the future with the problems this next generation has. Politically, the Pubs and Dems need to work together to fix communities and start raising the next generation of young people to be productive members of society. This may mean somehow increasing funding for children services, more funding for foster homes, and mental health services that can help better raise this next generation of young people. If parents canÂ’t raise their kids, then they shouldnÂ’t have them in their homes.

Let me give you two examples of how children are being raised in my community and I live in a pretty decent community.

First: A blended family of 7 children who live with a dad/stepdad and mom/stepmom. The children come to school receive free lunches and the family does not have to pay for anything school related. The oldest who is in 6th grade has no motivation to do any school work and sleep through most of class. When told how important school is for her get a job and support herself when she becomes an adult, she says she just wants to stay at home and collect the government check in the mail like her dad does. The others have discipline issues at school. Also, the family is expecting another child in the summer. Why? so they can get more money/benefits from the government.

Second: A family with 3 kids who all have pretty significant mental heath issues continue to have the police and children services called on them by the school and others in the community. This goes on for several year but nothing is done with the childrenÂ’s services being overwhelmed and not able to do anything about the situation. All three kids have severe behavior issues and have very little opportunity to live a productive life. After the oldest was beat by the dad so bad that he had several noticeable bruises on his body, the county judge decided to take the children away. The judge scolded children services for not doing anything sooner as I guess there were numerous reports made to children services about the family including domestic violence, drugs, guns. They kids were taken away for a year and returned back to their parents a year later. Children services continue to be contacted about the family.

These are just two examples of how the next generation of children are being raised. I am sure there are a lot worse stories than the two I have mentioned. The question is, how do you fix this or attempt to fix this? If the core issues (mental health, broken homes, loss of community or not part of community) are not addressed, school violence will continue and get worse.

It sure is funny how when a legit Nazi ultra right winger commits a shooting, the narrative is all about his “radicalized beliefs”.
When an ultra left wing Transphobic nut who has been militarized by their insane group commits a shooting it’s all about “guns”, and never their crazy beliefs.
The Nashville shooting was a hate crime vs Christians, their beliefs, and the Trans community now wanting their “Day of Vengeance” . They’ve been promoting it all over social media.
Look, I don’t own guns and are not a fan of them, but the narrative to not place the blame where it actually lies is disgusting.
Remember the Waukesha parade where, according to the media a “Car” plowed into people and killed them? Total down play of the hate crime committed by a guy of color vs whites.
    Media is trash
