These are the kind of people who would have protested hiring Miller because the money would be better spent giving it to the indigenous folks whose land was stolen to establish the university.
I love a lot of Democrats and liberals, but I definitely steered clear of most of these more extreme folks during my time at Xavier. And I suspect they've only gotten more extreme and more strange over the last 25 years.

My only further comment on this is that Nichols or anyone else has the right to protest and to speak whatever they want.
But, they are ridiculously wrong. Less than 10 percent of the Student Body signed that petition. Not exactly an overwhelming mandate.

That was my first thought, too. They support abortion, but don’t support a Republican prosecutor who was doing the job he was elected to do. Joe is on record as saying he went after the death penalty is cases where the law allowed it. He also has said if the death penalty was taken off the books, he’d prosecute based on the law without regard to any death penalty.
I wonder what kind of response a petition supporting Deters’ appointment would get?

Biden’s Inflation precipitated by “Printing Money Spending”, causing Fed Rate hikes are screwing up the entire banking system.
And not a peep about this disaster from our Democrat side. Huh….
