Thought they did the broadcast on the other side (suite) of the court?

They do, and that area is being ripped out for the new center court club/beer garden.

So what you want is your group and your same or similar seats in terms of section closeness, etc.

There’s just no way you can eliminate some people seats and not do a seat re-selection. Again some of those people may be high on the points list and there would be nowhere to put them in the lower bowl based on all other seats already being season ticket holders. And they aren’t going to take seats from coaches wives, and former players or recruits or whatever.
At the expense of sounding pretentious, the upper bowl is simply not an option for us.

And I think we'll have to agree to disagree on your last paragraph. I think they could accommodate the misplaced seat holders by moving them throughout the lower bowl in university controlled tickets including empty suites. Seems there are always a few empty seats in the coaches family block in 106. And have you noticed how many give aways are provided for folks on the floor in front of 101 and 102. Plus if necessary go back to some of the corporate accounts with blocks in sections 107 to 112 and see if some would consider reducing from 8 to 6 (as an example). Quite a few of these seats go unused anyway.

Being pretentious can be expensive. Figure out the disparity in points in your group of tickets and strategically increase your donations to get everyone on the same level so that your selection times are together. This is what we did last time, gifted some extra money to catch up with our seat mate to make sure we could pick at about the same time.

If you had a enough points last time to comfortably get lower bowl tickets, my guess is that you will once again be fine. If you were borderline, might be time to make some planned donations. What's the point of having being-pretentious-money if you don't occasionally throw it around. Maybe could even get your name on a plaque somewhere as a benefactor.

Our names already appear on a plaque. We were among the many who signed 7 year contracts back in 1998 (I believe) to facilitate the funding of Cintas. When you walk in the northeast entrance to Cintas our names are listed on the "wall of gratitude" to the right of the stairs. A few of us have had season tickets for 35 years. We had hoped that longevity, continuity and loyalty would be valued in the seat selection process. We're foolish.

Time to pony up again…….there are always more plaques to be made.

No issues with that, just acknowledge your biggest priority isn’t being with your group, it’s where your seats are. I think many on here probably feel the same or this whole group thing wouldn’t be an issue. Plenty of space for large groups up top.
