White smoke at last. Good luck trying to defund the IRS as your first bill, though.

What you'd like to pretend I said so you can score some gotcha points I guess.
No. YOU tried to change the point of the posts to make your points by trying to cutely change the terms from OIL to “petroleum products” to protect your Altzheimers ridden President, who has now taken SIXTY trips to Delaware in his 2 years. By comparison, Trump had only taken 18 to Florida at this point.
My Gawd. You really can’t read or comprehend can you? This is about OIL not “petroleum commodities”, because it’s about a PIPELINE that transports CRUDE OIL. Crude oil is the ingredient to enhance supply and lower gas and transportation/shipping prices, which could have lowered inflation. Biden’s cancellation contributed greatly to inflation and his ridiculous attempts to correct by desperately reaching out to OPEC and Venezuela were those of an imbecile. Even a primer is too complicated for you. Thus your Xavier degree is in question.

And other Board Posters, Please reference Posts 16350 and 16358 where it is clear what Paul was trying to do.

Oh! And Deferring Paul Loses again!! (But the entire country loses with Biden)

From Jennifer Jacobs, Sr. White House correspondent for Bloomberg News today:
“Scoop: The Biden admin is delaying the replenishment of the SPR — the nation’s emergency oil reserve — after deciding the offers it received from oil companies were either too expensive or didn’t meet the required specifications, sources tell me.

Some of the prices that oil companies submitted to admin for barrels of crude to refill nation’s emergency reserve came in too high.
Some bids didn’t meet specifications for SPR storage (in underground salt caverns).
    Biden officials rejected them all.”

Huh! That Strategic Reserve Drawdown sure has gone well.

If there were going to add 87,000 government jobs, I would think it would be better used at the immigration office.

I think that's spread over a 10 year period to cover natural attrition, in addition to bolstering the audit staff.

Totally agree. The clown Biden regime has used the SPR to try and game the oil market because of their sheer incompetence in managing the nation's economy and stupidly don't realize that energy policy and being self-sufficient with fossil fuel resources is highly intertwined with the health of that economy. The Biden regime and the Democrats really don't care about the security of you and your family and the country in general by the way they have grossly mishandled the SPR, which really should be available for military purposes and can be used occasionally should refineries have to be shut down because of such things as severe hurricanes, but shouldn't be used because your moron president has decided to undercut the country's ability to be self-dependent with energy resources, much of which is dependent on fossil fuels, and thus foolishly use the SPR as some kind of tool to cover for manipulated oil market supplies by other countries and high prices.

Other strong evidence that the Biden regime and the Democrats (at least most of them) don't care about the security of you and your family is the way they have allowed the criminals to run the streets (soft on crime Democrat DA's, no cash bail, etc) and doing everything they can to facilitate our southern "border" (actually a non-border) to be overrun with unvetted illegals (lots of them ARE criminals, some may be terrorists, and many may be carrying contagious diseases) and impair the ability of the border patrol to do their jobs, which is to protect our border. We simply cannot absorb and support the populations of entire other nations, especially with unskilled and uneducated illegals, many of whom are roaming the country unidentified and unmonitored. I would like the so-called "progressives" to inform us as to how many illegals we can allow in and sustain in this country and remain economically viable. Other countries regulate their borders and the numbers of immigrants allowed in-why can't we do the same? And please don't spew that irrational answer,"That's not who we are."

Didn't know I was in a race...but if they are delaying the replenishment I guess I must have "lost."
