The Democrats have been the most divided and dysfunctional group that I have ever seen. They make the Pac 12 seem like they've got their shit together and are completely united with one another. The Dems constantly attack each other. They will try and "cancel" one of their own at the drop of a hat. A lot of Democrats actually cannot stand the extreme left. They're just kind of afraid to say anything because they know if they do that the Crazy is gonna Crazy.

You say you want to debate these issues and that the left leaning people on this site refuse to do it. The reason for that is the left leaning people on this site agree with almost none of those points, or at the very least do not agree with them to the extreme extent that the Crazy Left takes them. It's not that they're afraid to debate you. It's that they don't agree with any of those points in the first place. They ARE NOT in lock-step. If anything, the Crazy Left is a constant attempt to 'Out-Crazy-Left' everyone else. No one wants to debate the merits of that. There aren't any.

The thing is, I think the 'Crazy Right' is kind of starting to look the same way on the other side of the mirror. That's what scares me. The Right of about 15 years ago would have told Trump to go fuck himself.

You've missed my point. The deflection you are calling, "very clever" is exactly what you are doing. I don't think you believe in the examples I presented. They are the most extreme perceptions of Republican view removed of all nuance, which again is what you're doing. Classic strawman

No Strawman....straight up, I am just simply a traditional "center right" guy. My political views are America First and grounded in common sense.

Look, unfortunately the Dems control the WH and both Houses. Therefore, all current domestic and global policy has to be 100% on them.

I am more than pissed off at what they are allowing at our southern boarder. Common sense says why?

Is there any doubt which party supports the Anti-Law Enforcement agenda that is destroying Police moral? Common sense says this is full blown insanity.

We just had a sitting POTUS, with the overwhelming support of his party, label all opposition voters Modern day Fascists/White Supremacists. In a National "State or the Union" address. Common sense says that is going to INFURIATE MILLIONS of people like me.

The Supreme Court ruling on Abortion is spot on and overdue.... leave it to individual States. HOWEVER, the likelihood that "Bible Belt" States will go extreme is disturbing. Solidly safe Birth control is dirt cheap and available to anyone. ANY attempt to restrict the pill or the "morning after" pill, makes no "Common Sense". I know that hardcore "Bible Thumpers" think safe Birth control encourages promiscuity, but people are always going to hook up. Abortions could be drastically reduced if the "Pill" could be insisted upon like the C19 vax.

The Gun Show loophole has to be closed. The fire power stuff that goes on at country Flea markets has zero regulation. Our 2A rights can never be infringed......but again Common Sense.

Legal Immigrantion ONLY. Mass Boarder security that include increase Boarder Agents, Drone Surveillance AND WALLS in high traffic areas. Common Sense.

Yeah..this thing is getting really stinky. This is an older article by news-cycle timing, but even BET is reporting that there has been absolutely no evidence to support this claim. No video, no audio..nothing. Throw in a race baiting godmother, and several black students at the event that heard nothing and all of this points to being completely made up. This topic should actually be under the 'Journalism is dead' thread.

I was reminded (again) today, of the somewhat childish behavior of the last president.
Not only didn't attend inauguration, or welcome successor and spouse to White House, or have the first ladies meet before the handover...but failed to follow the example of all recent presidents to have their predecessor and spouse come to the White House for official portrait unveiling.
So, Biden had to do it for Obama...like Obama did for Bush, and Bush did for Clinton, etc.

Xuperman is begging someone to argue in favor of a Republican perception of Democrat views. No one is because they're not actual views actual people believe in. I have given examples of the Democratic perception of Republican views and you have correctly pointed out that no one is making these arguments.

Here's a quick litmus test I tell people to do when I'm tired of hearing them talk about the other side as all out evil or stupid. 70+ million people voted for the other guy. Explain why they did without insulting their intelligence or assigning negative intentions to them. If you can't do that, you're the problem.
