It's looking more and more as if we have a chance to run the table in the conference this year.

A couple of these teams will pull it together before conference season rolls around. Just what we need: A league full of RPI assassins.

    As of right now:
    St. Louis - 249
    Fordham - 299
    Charlotte - 305
    UMass - 314

These teams could very well keep the A10 from getting 2 bids.

How in the frig did UMass lose to Toledo? They must suck balls.

Was I the only one who thought that this league was going to build off of some of the success from last year?

If I could borrow a line from Dennis Green, this league is made up of teams who are what we thought they were, disappointing and awful.

    Hello Juan Bid.

(UMass and Charlotte are going to kill the league this year. They have enough talent that they will get it together and beat some of the better teams in conference, thus saddling them with some horrific losses.)

That is what is most frustrating. You know these teams are better then they are playing and they will knock off some actual good teams in conference.

It's like when a mediocre team get up for and beats Xavier (see Miami last year, or the year Duquesne beat us twice). Either lay down for us, like you do in most of your other games, or play against everyone like you played against us so it won't be viewed as a bad loss. Such is life as the flagship of the conference . . .

I think the A-10 will still manage two bids (Xavier and Dayton), but it might only have one other postseason (NIT or CBI) candidate in Rhody. THAT is pathetic.

The A-10 is now 10th in RPI. But it's a pretty solid 10, so we've got that going for us.

    Xavier is 8th in RPI.

And how bad was the UMass loss to Toledo? It was Toledo's first win of the year. So far, UMass' new coach has been a disaster.

So much for John Calapari's recommendations. (Although he does like Sean).
