Nancy Pelosi can not be serious with this shit. Just can. not.
Pelosi addresses Monday's salon incident:
“I take responsibility for trusting the word of the neighborhood salon that I’ve been to...many times…It was a set up, and I take responsibility for falling for a setup.”
“I think that this salon owes me an apology, for setting me up”

Then again, Trump and Pence hold rallies with people on top of each other and not a mask in sight.
...he went up late, and I was already up there.

Funny. Trump should personally thank Pelosi when re-elected. This is a big deal no matter what the Libs on this board say. So many people have been suffering and here you have one of the biggest libs at a salon that should be closed and not wearing a mask. Jeez

It's only a big deal because of what she said today. If she just said I should not have gone there, it was a mistake and I apologize, news cycle over. Now she's asking the salon for an apology because she broke the rules.

Here's where I have to disagree with you: she knowingly went to this place and had to know that it was against the rules, if you will.
Notwithstanding that she really screwed the pooch with this incident, you are otherwise saying that she could have had a soft landing via contrition: it's the old "I'm a thief, I got caught, I apologize - I should be forgiven".
Sorry. She went there. She knew she went there (well, it is Pelosi, so maybe I'm stretching it a bit, given her level of stupidity).
She isn't a "thief" ,but she is allegedly one of our top political leaders. You don't get to make 'mistakes' like this at that level.
Not in this context. Not with COVID boxing people in and boxing people out of work and their jobs. Not when common citizens aren't allowed to go to these places, and not when the people who own these places are not allowed to operate them and therefore make a living.
She was DOA when she deliberately stepped through that door and did what she did. I get your angle about being contrite, and, as you noted, it didn't matter anyway because she doubled down in liberal stupidity.
It's just that the optics are so bad with this that no amount of remorse would have made it better.X A V I E R

I saw this on Twitter. Only in America do you have angry white lady telling a black guy to educate himself on police brutality and systematic racism.
