Thrilled overall, obviously. But I was a bit disappointed with the lack of scoring on the inside for most of the game (I.e. the infamous 3 headed monster). Mainly because I thought that would be the key to the game. Shows you what I know.

Didn't we like rarely use this though? Not sure how effective Scruggs/Naji/Kanter would be in it given we used it a fraction as much as we have the last two seasons.

I think part of why we rarely used it is BE teams knew it too well. I bet it comes out a bit in the NCAA Dance where’s it takes an adjustment. Naji is the new long and pesky JP at the top going forward, I’d bet.

J.P. Macura was On Deem all around. Moment - get leveled in paint then casually roll out to arc to drill a 3.

Nice to see March Trevon in the second half.

Hope that was the opening act of March Kai$$$er.

Hope O'Mara got the shanks out of his system.

Chris Paul is jealous of the Shruggs fastbreak pass to Q.

Kanter's bank shot was the best shot ever.

I will take 10 more of those Q jams every game.

Now if Naji can channel his inner February, this team is unstoppable.
    It's winning time.

It may be different against Providence but I bet we are at least at that level
The place was full of St. John’s fans for the Georgetown game. My guess is many of them had to work or didn’t love the prospects against the #1 seed.

That'd be surprising considering how well they played Xavier in the two regular season matchups

Man is it ever nice to have big strong guards like that. Running 6'3" and 6'4" guys out there who can dunk on a blow-by and rebound is necessary to play in the Big East.

I for one am looking forward to our Paul Scruggs/Quentin Goodin overlords next year (not that I'm looking ahead)
