I have always held the opinion that Stanley Burrell was the best passing 2-guard we've ever had.
However, Myles Davis has been outpacing him this year... both statistically and (IMO) according to the old fashioned "eye test." This continued last night, as he delivered a few more of his trademark snap passes down low for an easy bucket. This year, he has notched 5 or more assists in 11 games, including 5 straight against ranked opponents. All from a guy who came in as a Brad Redford-esque spot shooter.
Am I crazy to make the leap that he's overtaken Hammer as our best passing 2-guard?

JC was a pretty good passer (when he wanted to) but I'd agree - Myles has been wonderful.

Myles is a pass first, shoot second 2 guard.....and that doesn't happen very often. He almost always makes the right decision. You don't see that very often from a 2 guard. It's almost like we have two PG's on the floor at the same time.

Yeah I think the notion of position is kind of a fake idea. It depends who is on the floor and what the offense is.
Sumner being able to play off the ball sometimes makes him even more dangerous.
