It was awesome listening to the ESPN brass bitching and moaning about Notre Dame and Syracuse getting called for lane violations that didn't even involve players on the lane. I also sent a text to my sister (a Notre Dame grad) wishing her a happy St. Patrick's Day. She was not happy about that for some reason.

Was that like a half spin glider falling out of bounds senior year in NCAA tourney? If so, I agree that was a special play.

I think the most amazing thing about that play was how perfunctory it felt. Once it got to that score/time situation, I would have been 100 times more surprised if he hadn't scored it than I was when he did. There was sincerely no question in my mind regarding what was going to happen.
