Dee Davis has 172 assists this season, 7th on the all time season assist list. He could easily end up second on that list.
He's third on the all time senior season assist chart, and will pass Steve Gentry for second next game.
He has 443 career assists, eighth on the all time list and has a legit shot at getting to fourth, outside shot at third.
He gracefully spent his junior season letting Semaj oink, er handle, the ball and share the PG duties/assists, or he would have a shot at Ralph Lee's career mark.
I cant find any stats on A/TO ratio records, help if you know.
This kid is a winner, never shirks, stays focused, sees the floor. He's not perfect, but he's perfect for Xavier.

He's a solid player who had a GREAT game, but let's not canonize him because of one game. He's been consistent, but not spectacular.
Also, "Dee's not perfect, but he's perfect for Xavier" is clearly post-shootout hyperbole. He's a good representative for the university, and a solid player, but he pales in comparison to some of the other guards we've had in the last 6-7 years.

Although Dee Davis has some limitations due to his size and slow release on his jump shot, he has consistently been a good point guard this year, both on offense and defense. There is no one else on this team who is even a close second at playing point guard.

People just won't forgive Dee for the fact that he's not Drew Lavender or Tu Holloway, but he's no less than a solid point guard. Those who don't see that are just overly critical and / or living in the past.

Hey look, I started this thread.
Anyways Dee is an above average point guard who will make a few mistakes a game, but runs the offense very well. He has been quite good this year in my opinion. The problem is we have been spoiled by our PGs for so long. We will miss Dee next year. We may get back to borderline all american point guards in a year or two, but most teams would kill for a guy like Dee. He has been very solid and I think he has far exceeded what I ever expected him to become as a player. For all the haters, did you really expect him to become the next Tu? He has far exceeded my expectations for him and I couldn't be happier with his play this year.
