Not to speak for xeus, but I'm pretty sure he's referring to a post that has since been deleted and not the fact the that Jalen Reynolds is practicing with the team.

Maybe. If Providence thinks he's not playing, they may not discuss in meetings and practice how to guard him and what he can or cannot do. On top of that, what advantage is it for X to announce he's playing? None.
