    No, I don't think that's right. He sat out a year and lost a year of eligibility in the process. He played a few games his first year at X and then took a medical redshirt. He barely played his redshirt freshman year. He sat out the next year as a transfer and lost his sophomore year. Last year he was a junior. This year, he's a senior, and he would still be a senior if he had stayed at X.

    After medical redshirting his freshman year, he joined Mark Lyons' class (which Redford later joined after his own injury). Now Walsh may or may not be eligible next year, seeing as he is in fifth year of college. Usually players have to get a waiver to get a sixth year if they haven't exhausted their playing eligibility.

    Damn. I am really losing it. Forgot all about the broken hand. If he gets a 6th year, though, I'm going back to petition for Brandon Cole.
