Yeah, I'm nervous as I am before any game...especially the first in what I'm hoping is a magical "smell the glove" like run to the Final Four but also without our POY candidate and overall bada$$ Tu Freakin Holloway.
Regardless, I think our defense is much too tough unless there is a 3-point extravaganza not seen this side of Kyle Korver on New Year's Eve.
Let's go X!!! (it's been a long time since I wrote/said that, really looking forward to our new guys first home game)

I think X will win it, and it should be a good test to see how well we can do without Tu. Heaven forbid that he should get injured or anything, but if he did, this game will give us some kind of idea what to expect without him. I think Davis & Lyons will do well at the point, and Brad and possibly Dez will get some time at the SG spot.
Let's keep our fingers crossed that all goes well.
Uncaged, thanks for reminding me of that Kyle Korver performance. WOW! At 6'7", he just flat out shot the lights out. That is a night that is indelibly etched in my memory. But, I don't think Morgan St. is the caliber of team that Creighton was at that time. At least I hope not.
